TOURISM IN NAKURU COUNTY

Nakuru County lies on the floor of the great Rift Valley and takes up a land coverage of 7,509.5 square kilometres. The capital town of Nakuru County is Nakuru Town, although Naivasha is also a major town within the county. The county is the main economic and agricultural centre of the Kenya Rift Valley region. Nakuru County is bordered by Kajiado and Narok counties to the south and south-west respectively. The county is also bordered by Kiambu County to its south-east and Nyandarua County to its east, Baringo County to the north and Kericho County to the north-west while Bomet County borders Nakuru County to the west.
