KENYA TOURISM BOARD AND ORGANIZATIONS DOMINATE WTA AWARDS
Kenya triumphed at the 2017 World Travel Awards (WTA) scooping top awards in various categories. Kenya’s safari and beach products received a boost with the renowned Maasai Mara Game Reserve being voted Africa’s leading national park, while Diani Beach scooped award for Africa’s leading beach destination. In addition, the Kenya Tourism Board (KTB) emerged as Africa’s top Tourism board for the 6th year in a raw, flooring other African tourism agents in Africa, including the Egyptian Tourist Authority, Moroccan National Tourism Organization and South African Tourism. The prestigeous award ceremony to recognize the Oscars of travel industry was held on the 10th October at the Radisson Blu Hotel & Convention Centre, Kigali, Rwanda.
